- Ellias Appel Added November 20, 2017★ ★ ★ ★ ★This restaurant changed hands earlier this year, and in doing so a much needed attention to detail was introduced. While the interior hasn't been updated noticeably, the menu has been revised, with more changes to come (more on this later).
Staff were brilliantly attentive, fast and unobtrusive.
Portion sizes were generous, while not sacrificing quality of ingredients.
We had steak, salmon, steak sandwich, some dips, cocktails and a special : beef ribs with purple slaw.
All were cooked perfectly, salmon was delicious and the croquettes were a wonderful addition. The steak sandwich was a delight. Espresso Martini was well priced and very well made.
Now to the ribs. Incredible! I have a soft spot for slow cooked beef ribs. We were told that the chef has been working on this offering for a while with a view to add it permanently to the menu. I hope this happens as they're the best beef ribs I've had outside of my own kitchen.
I've found my new local, and I cannot recommend it more highly.
